PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS

ARMS offers annual well check-ups to address any concerns you may have about your health. Your vital signs will be checked by a member of your Primary Care Medical Team at each visit, including your blood pressure, heart rate, height, and weight.  In addition, you will be asked about lifestyle behaviors such as smoking, excessive alcohol use, sexual health, diet, and exercise. A member of the Primary Care Medical Team will also check on your vaccination status, in an effort to prevent certain illnesses, such as pneumonia, flu, and tetanus.  In order to accurately evaluate your medical health, you will need to provide information about your own personal medical history, as well as that of your family members.

ARMS provides physical exams for work, sports, camp or school depending on your need at a very low cost. We also offer flu shots to everyone at a low cost of $20.00 with no appointment necessary.

We are certified for DOT Physicals at our Ensley Health Center. Many professional drivers are required to get physicals on a regular basis. Our certified Practitioners make it easy for commercial drivers to fulfill Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements. Your Practitioner will complete your Medical Examination Report on the Commercial Driver Fitness Determination form, provide a summary, a receipt, and a Medical Examiner’s Certificate, as required. The summary of your visit can be sent to your Primary Care Provider (PCP) with your permission.
